In a secret meeting between VICPOL and the team of 8, funds have been released to recruit 4000 new Intensive Care Officers (ICOs).

Our dear leader is showing true genius insight into the initiative by reallocating $1.3 billion previously earmarked for 4000 new ICU beds by the traitor Mikakos, to fund the recruitment and purchase essential equipment.

“But what about the ICU COVID patients that come from Delta or subsequent strains?” bleat the sheep from the Murdoch Press and “independent” try hards.

In a very gracious display, Comrade Dan took the time to explain the obvious.

“With around 8000 Covid cases we see around 65 in ICU. So we’ve done the numbers and we can easily cope with 55,000 cases with our current 450 ICU beds.

HOWEVER we need 2000 riot police to cope with 200 protestors, so with projections of up to 1000 protestors we urgently need an additional 4000 ICOs to keep us safe from the very dangerous libertarian ideas these protestors are pushing”

All the PRV faithful will immediately recognise that COVID is nothing compared to the earworms of “freedom”.

For those wishing to apply for the ICO roles the following criteria are essential:

• A higher than average BSQ (Bolshevik Socialist Quotient) score with a low IQ (Intelligence Quotient) score.
• A very low EQ (Emotion Quotient) score wil also be well regarded.
• A willingness to participate in our Transhuman program, with muscular and intolerance enhancements being mandatory.
